Texas Chainsaw 3D was originally scheduled to be released theatrically on October 5, 2012 but was delayed to a January 4, 2013 release. On May 14, 2013, the film was released on DVD and Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D, which includes an UltraViolet digital copyof the film along with multiple commentaries and featurettes, an alternate opening and the trailer.
