Opening scene, Lionel Barrymore as grumpy florist Grimm, the reluctant host of a seance run by his medium friend Dr. MacPherson (Edward Ellis), Donald Meek, Ethel Griffies among the irritated guests, in the RKO remake of The Return Of Peter Grimm, 1936, based on a play by David Belasco.
