In January 2021 the University Court set a target of Net Zero by 2035 for the University of St Andrews and adopted our new Environmental Sustainability Strategy. The University’s definition of net zero encompasses carbon and all greenhouse gas emissions, as well as stopping other forms of environmental degradation.
