Beverly (Bev) Ann Bivens, (born April 28, 1946 in Santa Ana, California) [1] is the American former lead singer of the West Coast folk rock group We Five from 1965 to 1967. Since 2021 she has been the original band's last surviving member.
WE FIVE was the first of the “Top 40” San Francisco sound groups. Nominated as best new artist of 1965, it was the definitive FOLK ROCK group, a bridge between the Doors and Peter, Paul and Mary.

When the first phase of We Five disbanded in 1967, Pete and Jerry decided to stay true to the ideals of their sound and began a group with Jerry’s wife Debbie. They called themselves the Tricycle.
