Jun 22, 2010 · On the barrel it is stamped - "410 gauge choke bore barrel and lug forged in one" and "Pat'd June 15 15 Pat's Pending". The serial # is 75473. I have read several of these posts but I still cannot determine which model I have or whether it is the small or standard size frame.

Jun 6, 2007 · "Barrel and Lug Forged in One" is an Iver Johnson trademark referring to the way their shotgun barrels were made. It means the locking lug on the bottom of the barrel, at the breech end, was forged and then machined as part of a single piece with the barrel itself.
It is stamped with "-410 GAUGE CHOKE BORE BARREL AND LUG FORGED IN ONE-" (with hyphens, without quotes). Single barrel, no vent rib. It has a five-char serial number which has not been modified but is very hard to read.
Iver Johnson. Anyone no what model and what years they were made? On the barrel its says 20 guage choke bore barrel and lug forged in one. On the receiver it says Iver Johnson's Arms & cycle works Fitchburg Mass USA.
Overall length 42 in. Overall good estate condition, barrel and receiver have finish wear, oxidation, and scuffing, wood is in good condition with minimal to no marks, possible revarnish.
