Beautifully restored in 4K high-definition and enjoying a well-deserved big screen re-release, the visually impressive Cedar Boys still feels fresh, and is even more relevant and topical now than it was on its release over ten years ago.
Cedar Boys Synopsis: Tarek (Les Chanterey) works as panel beater, lives at home in Sydney ’s Western suburbs and on the weekends goes clubbing with his Lebanese buddies. When one of them comes up with a plan to rob a drug dealer Tarek sees an opportunity to break out of his going-nowhere life.
Things go terribly wrong for three Lebanese-Australian friends (Les Chantery, Buddy Dannoun, Waddah Sari) who try to get ahead by selling stolen drugs.
