Police Information Checks. The online Police Information Check application process is fully electronic, including the results. The Police Information Checks are all completed by members of the Edmonton Police Service. Click here for information on applying for a Police Information Check.
The federal processing fee is CDN$ 25 for each criminal record check, however, the federal fee is waived in some cases (see the table below). The federal fee is collected by the police service or accredited fingerprint company taking your fingerprints.
A Criminal Record Check obtained from a private third party provider will only indicate the existence of a criminal record. A Criminal Record Check alone will also not contain information relating to any upcoming court appearances or relevant provincial statute convictions.

PIC applications will not be accepted at Divisional Stations. Identification Required. Two pieces of identification must be produced.
