Keith Ian Giffen (November 30, 1952 – October 9, 2023) was an American comics artist and writer. He was known for his work for DC Comics on their Legion of Super-Heroes and Justice League titles as well as for being the co-creator of Lobo, Rocket Raccoon, and Jaime Reyes.
- 52 Ushered In a Whole New DC Universe. DC Comics - 2006-2007 - Writer/Layout Artist. Kicking off in May 2006, DC Comics' 52 was a year-long series consisting of 52 weekly issues, each of which represented one week of time in-universe during the time left unaccounted for following the end of Infinite Crisis.
