Daniel Sollinger started filmmaking in high school by attending the Fine Arts Center in Greenville, South Carolina. While getting his BFA at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Daniel won the award for Best Cinematographer and had his photography published in the New York Times.
After working on numerous rap videos for artists such as Will Smith, and A Tribe Called Quest, Daniel produced "Rhyme & Reason," a feature film documentary on hip-hop culture, which has been named by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the top 35 music documentaries of all time.
