Ingredients. Cake. 1½ cups granulated sugar. ¾ cup canola oil. ¾ cup unsweetened applesauce. ¾ cup prepared caramel sauce, plus more for serving. 3 large eggs, room temperature. 3¾ cups all-purpose flour. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1½ teaspoons baking soda. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. ½ teaspoon kosher salt.
