Oct 24, 2022 · My personal favorite was the caramel apple. The caramel was soft, the apple fresh and flavorful and the coating was fantastic and tasted just like apple pie! They were packed well for shipping and each item was beautifully packaged.
Mar 14, 2006 · If you’re thinking of making your own caramel apples, McIntosh or Granny Smith apples are the best choices—preferably Granny Smith, the tartness of which is the best counterpoint to sweet caramel. Avoid the temptation to use other varieties, e.g. Fuji or Delicious, no matter what the recipe may say.
