GROUPIES is a rather interesting documentary on a few different levels but I think a lot of people learned that term from watching ALMOST FAMOUS. In that film you see a smart and intelligent groupie who just happens to be being used. That loveable character made the movie but I think most would agree that she wasn't the rule.
