Does anyone have any experience with Interscope Records reaching out? What would a legitimate email address be? The email doesn't mention anything about having to pay to be apart of it (which we know are frequent scams).
So I got a message from this instagram account @/interscoperecordsscout (screenshot below) and this "agent" has been messaging me for the past six months trying to get me on board. I have no clue if this is a scam or not. At first, they wanted me to invest some amount.
Yes this is a scam. Like someone already stated they don't know if your a male or female. If this person wants to connect with you, he should provide you with an officer number with his extension, so you can talk to him directly. Or Just contact interscope records yourself and do your due diligence.

Check the e-mail it came from, it may even look like an actual Interscope e-mail address but something will be off. This is what is known for sure. Artists do not instantly get offered contract by record companies.
