Jeffrey Dean Morgan (born April 22, 1966) is an American actor. He is best known for playing the character Negan Smith in the AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead (2016–2022), a role he reprised in the spin-off series The Walking Dead: Dead City (2023–present), for both of which he has received critical acclaim.
