David L. Hunt directed Living Dark: The Story of Ted the Caver (2013), an independent horror film loosely based on the creepypasta. Chris Cleveland and Matthew Alan play two estranged brothers who, following their father's funeral, reunite to explore a cave which may hold the answers to his death.
Dark is a German science fiction thriller television series co-created by the couple Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese. It ran for three seasons from 2017 to 2020. The story follows the dysfunctional characters from the fictional town of Winden in Germany, as they pursue the truth in the aftermath of a child's disappearance.
Two estranged brothers become obsessed with gaining access to an unexplored cave, despite the horrors they encounter during their excavation.

Unauthorized Living (Spanish: Vivir sin permiso) is a Spanish-language television series created by Aitor Gabilondo and starring José Coronado, Álex González, Claudia Traisac. The plot revolves around Nemo Bandeira (Coronado) who has a businessman facade, but is really a drug lord.

The movie started really great, with two brothers uncovering mysterious unexplored cave with something sinister lurking in the deeps. For a good part of the movie it was not clear what it is or if its even real or only the imagination of the protagonists.
