Maurice Hemlinger. Moving Gelatine Plates is a French progressive rock band first formed in 1968 by Gérard Bertram (guitarist) and Didier Thibault (bassist and band leader), who met in 1966 as 14-year-old schoolmates. [1]
A quartet, the band was greatly enhanced by the multi-instrumental talents of organ and reed player Maurice HEMLINGER. The rhythm section is quite skilled and the compositional content is quite mature. Guitarist Gerard BERTRAM is quite creative and versatile.

Maurice Ambroise EHLINGER (1896-1981) was an International renowned French artist. Works exhibited in many French museums and in particular in Saint Dié where thirty-seven paintings and a large number of drawings are exhibited.
The title track, the awesome 14 min+ 'World of Genius Hans' is probably their magnum opus displaying excellent capabilities from all musicians. But clearly the star of the show is Hemlinger and his never ending switch from trumpet to saxes , flutes and Kb works.
