The Nitro Blaster is the basic weapon used by all five RPM Rangers. The weapon starts out as a blaster style weapon, but can be morphed into a saber mode, the Nitro Sword (though it should be noted the sword mode has no actual cutting edge, being more akin to a staff or baton).
This leaves the rangers with a tough decision because they ultimately don't want to kill someone that they consider a friend despite the manipulation that he's been through. However the only way to defeat Venjix now is to destroy the host body.
In 2008 the Rangers went maximum RPM with the Blaster and the cell morpher. Check out the ad that was made for the 2009 toy range.
