Ray Corrigan as the main hero, adds little to the film. John King adds a few songs in a decent baritone voice. Ventriloquist Max Terhune, with his dummy Elmer, is the obligatory comic sidekick and also adds a little to the action.

Saddle Mountain Round-Up. Someone is trying to kill Magpie Harper so he sends for the Range Busters. Crash and Dusty arrive to find him murdered. Then Alibi who was bringing the Range Busters' cattle drive money fails to show up.
