  1. Shirley Neilsen Blum, also known as Shirley Hopps (born 14 October 1932) is an American art historian, author, gallerist, and professor emeritus at the State University of New York, Purchase (1970–1989). She specializes in Northern Renaissance art, early Netherlandish art, and modern art.

  2. Her early interest was in Northern Renaissance art and she is well known for her book Early Netherlandish Triptychs, but Professor Blum has also curated exhibitions and written about modern art, including co-authoring the exhibition catalogue The Window in Twentieth Century Art.
