The Tenant. Roman Polanski's "The Tenant" was the official French entry at Cannes last May, and in the riot to get into the press screening one man was thrown through a glass door and two more found themselves amid the potted palms. It's a wonder nobody was killed in the rush to get out.
While Rosemary’s Baby stands the test of time as one of the most incredible films of all time, I think The Tenant (the final film of his “apartment trilogy”), is just as mesmerizing. An extremely slow burn that builds into one of the greatest endings I’ve seen in a very long time.
