Turnhout ( Dutch pronunciation: [ˈtʏr (ə)nɦʌut]) is a Belgian municipality and city located in the Flemish province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises only the city of Turnhout proper. In 2021, its population was 45,874. [2]

Turnhout is a town in the province of Antwerp, counting 43,000 inhabitants. It is the largest town in the eastern part of the province. The town is located 40 km east of Antwerp, 30 km from Dutch cities Breda, Tilburg and 40 km from Eindhoven, the largest city in the southern part of the Netherlands.
