Bubble Guppies is an animated musical preschool sketch comedy (fantasy comedy in Season 5 onwards) show created by Jonny Belt and Robert Scull (who would later create Butterbean's Cafe together). The series premiered on Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. block on January 24, 2011.
