  3. May 17, 2017 · Basically, I see it as one of Super Saiyan 2's grades. The Cell Saga Gohan one is Grade 1; the manga Trunks vs. SS3 Goku in the Zamasu arc is Grade 2; 'My Bulma' Vegeta is Grade 3; Super Saiyan Rage is Grade 4.

  4. The problem with the transformation is that Trunks, like any other u7 saiyan, uses rage to turn Ssj. If the Super Saiyan is already a transformation based on Rage (for them, for u6 is obtained differently), why make a form that is also about Rage, but changes things?

  5. Super Saiyan Rage brought Trunks at least to SSB Goku and Vegeta's level, arguably higher when he first transformed, meaning the Rage multiplier is somewhere between SS3 and SSB using that logic. But, again, DBS is crap with powerscaling and such, so take this with a grain of salt.

  7. May 1, 2017 · No, the Super Saiyan Rage transformation hasn't been seen in the manga yet. In fact, I suspect the manga doesn't plan on introducing SSR at all. What's important to remember here is that the manga version of Trunks is MUCH stronger than in the anime.
