Oct 29, 2020 · I think it’s Trunks’s version of Super Saiyan 3, though I can’t be too sure. It’s certainly stronger than 2, though the blue aura within the gold aura suggests something about God Ki, since he’d seen Goku and Vegeta use it.

Jun 13, 2017 · The problem with the transformation is that Trunks, like any other u7 saiyan, uses rage to turn Ssj. If the Super Saiyan is already a transformation based on Rage (for them, for u6 is obtained differently), why make a form that is also about Rage, but changes things?
Super Saiyan Rage is a modified version of Super Saiyan 2, which gains more power from the Saiyan’s emotional state. Future Trunks had already mastered Super Saiyan 2 and were in some pretty intense battles with Goku Black and Zamasu, which pushed him over the limit into Super Saiyan Rage.
Nov 4, 2016 · It is called 超サイヤ人怒り (Sūpā Saiya-jin Ikari) which means Super Saiyan Rage or Super Saiyan Anger. The form makes its first appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle and properly named in Super Dragon Ball Heroes .
Jun 17, 2018 · As it stands, Super Saiyan Rage is the only form completely unique to Trunks. While we don’t see any other characters use Super Saiyan Grade 3 in combat except for Future Trunks, it’s implied that both Goku and Vegeta can use, but simply chose not to.
