Real life answer is a plot device. Theory is that Vegeta showed Trunks how to access god ki off screen, but he never really was able to do it, and somehow getting super pissed enabled him to access some form of God ki. It wasn't explained.

SSJ Rage, or Super Saiyan Rage, is the 13th unlockable form in Dragon Blox Ultimate. It is free to unlock, but it is also exclusive to the Good Side. Players that have chosen the Evil Side do not have access to this transformation, instead having Corrupt SSJ.
