Our friend and brother, Ernie Reimer #1079 passed away this morning, November 19, 2023. Ernie was very active in the CPVA up until he began to have some health issues last year. He was pre-deceased by his wife Adele a few years ago.

Apr 17, 2022 · Ernest will be remembered for his resiliency and determination. He inspired people to overcome and find hope, no matter the circumstance. He died Easter Sunday, trusting “the trumpet shall sound, the dead shall be raised imperishable, and we shall all be changed”.
As a neighbour, president of the condominium board, advice giver, and friend we were so blessed to have him. To have known him as the police chief who believed in community policing and as the world traveller who had many stories to tell - Calgary was so lucky to have him.
