Sep 24, 2023 · I want a photo to open maximized in the window when I click on a thumbnail in File Explorer and it opens in the Windows Photos app. At the moment every photo opens in a small window and I have to maximize it myself. I've tried maximizing it, then closing and opening again but it makes no difference. Thanks in advance.

    Hit the Windows key and select Settings.

    Restart your PC.
