Mohan Sithara is an Indian music composer. He received the Kerala State Film Award for the Best Music Director (2009) for the songs in Priyanandan's Soofi Paranja Kadha. Since 1986 he has been an active musician in the Malayalam film industry. His work mixes Western, Classical and folk styles.
One thing he does not mention is that Mohan Sithara was supported by Vidhu and Jyotsana when he started a Satellite channel just for songs. They came in and sang for free but who would watch a Channel just for songs (except for jukeboxes maybe). That venture led to his downfall.
