Architecture. The castle was built in the southern part of the town, near its defensive walls, 900 meters long, covering an area of approximately 5.7 ha. Its main and oldest element, dating to the second half of the 13th century, was a four-sided tower, built of limestone tiles, sand-lime mortar-bonded.
