Green onions and parsley give this green rice its name, but the appealing flavor is what makes it memorable. —Karin Bailey, Golden Colorado
Welcome to Maine Stovetop Lobster Suppah
    Food52
Have I mentioned recently that I live in Maine now? Well I do, and one of the many reasons I moved here is because it smells a lot like East Hampton, which is where I spend my early childhood years, as a townie no less. I was not a true Bonacker because I wasn't born there and I won't be a true Mainiac probably until never I can live here for the next 50 years and still be from away, as they say. Besides the glorious smells of sea air + forest air and the sounds of seagulls, there are a few other things these two locations share namely; Lobster, Clams, Potatoes & Corn...all grown gathered and raised within a stones throw. Maine potatoes taste like Hampton's potatoes, maybe it's the sandy soil. I live close to a beach, but not on the beach, and certainly close enough to grab a few hanks of seaweed to make this 1 pot (sort of) "Suppah" as they say here in New England. I City-fied it with garlicky, fennely butter, and there's mussels and local kielbasa in there too because why not have everything good all at the same time. If you come to visit me in the summer this is what we'll do. Saturday morning we'll stop at the farmers for local cultured butter, mussels, corn, potatoes, garlic plus some bread for sopping and tomatoes , maybe even some oysters, you know , for starters. From there we'll go to Bisson's meat market for their smoked Kielbasa and what ever else looks good , it smells like smoked meats and the herd of cows staring accusingly at us. After that we can get on with the rest of the day, sunning, napping, hiking whatevs, it's summer! At around 3- 3:30 we'll go to Glen's Lobster at Miracle Cove on Bailey Island a get some lobsters-still in the traps still in the water, while we're there we'll grab the seaweed. Home in time for Happy Hour... we can divide up the tasks, shucking corn, shucking oysters, rubbing grilled bread with ripe tomatoes.... Dinner's when we want it maybe late after the sun's gone down, maybe early in the twilight and afterwards there might be pie and much later we'll sit around the fire pit and drink bourbon and burn marshmallows for fancy s'mores on ginger cookies with dark bitter chocolate.
    Dreamsicle Punch
    Food.com
I do not recommend using this as a punch. While it tastes grand the two ingredients will not play together nicely. They seprate and have a curdled look, not what you want to serve to guests so I am changeing the amounts to serve two. I am currently wondering if blending the Baileys and orange juice would combine them for a more pleasing look......
    Milkshake Kaboom

What can I say? The Beverage forum made me do it! This is a grown up milkshake. It will take you back to your childhood but remind you that you are an adult. That being said.... ENJOY!
    Baileys Irish Cream Cake
    Food.com
Came across this recipe and I am putting it here for safe keeping. Haven't made this recipe as yet, although there has not been a cake with spirits added that I have not loved. NOTE: The original recipe gave no amount on the white chocolate chips, I put in 12oz. as that is the size I would most likely buy. I plan on starting out with less when I first make this recipe, probably 1 cup and work from there. Please post what you did and how it worked out. Also: The recipe for cake ingredients should read: 1 Tblsp., plus 2 tsp. baking powder ( I could not get it to print that way)
Spiced Coconut Caramel Coffee With Baileys
    Food52
Baileys and coffee—it’s a classic for a reason. The sumptuous, creamy flavor of Original Irish Cream Liqueur (crafted with Irish whiskey, cream, cocoa, and a touch of vanilla) perfectly weaves its way through every caffeinated sip, complementing the rich, pleasingly bitter notes of the coffee. What could make it better? Enter: this very delicious, highly customizable spiced coconut caramel, featuring Diaspora Co. Makhir Ginger, Anamalai Mace, and Anamalai Nutmeg. The caramel starts with water and sugar, cooked until amber, and then bolstered with coconut cream (instead of the more typical heavy whipping cream) plus a knob of butter. The great part is you can choose your own caramel-flavored adventure by mixing up which spice you use (or, go spice wild and use all three!). This recipe makes about 1½ cups of spiced coconut caramel, so you’ll have plenty to keep on hand for caramel-spiked Baileys and coffee whenever the mood strikes. You can also use the caramel for a fun sundae in a mug—just add a couple scoops of your favorite ice cream to a mug, top with an ounce or two of Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur, a generous drizzle of spiced coconut caramel, and all the toppings your heart desires.
    French Dream
    Food.com
What's not to like in this recipe? The recipe did not say anything about useing ice and then blend it in a blender. But I think this would also be good as a frozen drink.
