Oct 18, 2021 · Overview. An Ontario driver’s licence is valid for 5 years. You must renew it every 5 years either online or at a ServiceOntario centre. What you need to know before you renew. Online renewal eligibility. You can renew online if you: have a full licence (G, M or GM class) that isn’t cancelled or suspended.
ServiceOntario is now offering virtual appointments to renew health cards. A virtual appointment is a video call with a ServiceOntario customer service representative to help you renew your health card from home, without visiting in-person at a ServiceOntario centre.

To renew your licence plate, you need: your licence plate number. your vehicle permit number. your insurance company name and policy number.
Renew your health card online using your valid driver’s licence or valid Ontario Photo Card as proof of identity and residency in Ontario. Your driver’s licence or Ontario Photo Card will not be renewed as part of this transaction.

If you have moved, you need to change the address on your health card, driver’s licence and vehicle permit (the green ownership document). After you have updated your address: your new driver’s licence showing your new address will be mailed to you.
You can order an Ontario birth certificate online, in-person (at the 47 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto or the 110 Laurier Avenue West, Ottawa locations) or by mail. Ontario birth certificates can only be issued for people whose births are/were registered in Ontario.
