Summaries. Toby and Michelle investigate the murder of an actor during the filming of an allegedly cursed horror movie. During a remake of a classic horror movie thought to be cursed, the Blood Butcher actor dies, victim of real bullets replacing blanks in the prop gun.
The Listener is a Canadian science fiction drama set in Toronto about a young paramedic named Toby Logan ( Craig Olejnik) with the ability to hear people's most intimate thoughts. The series was created by Michael Amo and is produced by Shaftesbury Films for CTV and Fox International Channels.
The Listener will premiere on NBC for the U.S on Thursday, June 4th at 10/9c. Filmed on location in Toronto, Canada. Toby Logan is a 24-year-old paramedic who can read people's thoughts.
