- Tell me about your experience growing up in rural Maine. How has it affected your career in creating movies? Growing up in the Farmington area was one of the more fortunate things that ever happened to me.
- Writing can be such a therapeutic activity. Is it the same for writing screenplays? Did writing or producing Tumbledown lead you to any self-discoveries?
- What advice you could offer to current Mt. Blue High Schoolers who are writers pursuing their craft? My advice would be to spend more time actually working on your craft – whatever it is – than you do talking about it.
- How did you break through that ‘stuck’ feeling that is so often associated with small town life? I think the only time I felt stuck was in the morass of middle school awkwardness, though I’d guess that feeling probably would have been the same no matter where I was raised.
