Dino Meneghin possessed all the qualities needed to make him a star in his native Italy. He was big and strong, knew how to play both inside and outside, and was blessed with a knowledge of basketball's intricacies that was highly advanced. Meneghin began his celebrated international career at age 16 and did not retire until age 44.
