Emily Jennings Stowe became the first woman doctor in Canada in 1867 when she returned home to Ontario to set up a practice in Toronto. Our school runs on a regular day program with our start time as 9:00 am and dismissal time at 3:30 pm.
School Program: Dr. Emily Stowe offers programming from Kindergarten to grade 8. We provide support for identified special education students and for those students who have intensive needs that require accommodations. The grade 7 and 8 program includes a mixture of core and rotary subjects.
