Return of the Mad Bomber (続々・神室の爆弾魔, Zokuzoku - Kamuro no Bakudan-ma, Lit. "Continued Again - Kamuro's Mad Bomber") is the 7th side case in Judgment.
Yagami finds Tsukumo in the parking lot behind the Millennium Tower. Tsukumo's interest was piqued enough to leave the internet cafe by an electromagnetic wave with an unusual frequency. Yagami is called by a blocked number, and he suspects the caller to be the Mad Bomber.
After picking up the call, Yagami is told by the bomber that he holds a grudge against the detective for ruining his bombing schemes. He informs Yagami there is one bomb planted, and gives the hint "The pigeon coos among the cherry blossoms!" Tsukumo notices a spike in the odd electromagnetic wave, and Yagami fills him in on the bomb situation, leading Tsukumo to suspect the wave to be originating from the bomb. While Tsukumo works on tracing the wave, Yagmai goes to look for the bomb.
At the Pink Street Poppo, Yagami finds the bomb and disarms it, after which a store clerk sees him holding the bomb and accuses him of being the bomber, but Tsukumo arrives, having traced the electromagnetic wave to the accusatory clerk. The clerk takes off his shirt to reveal a bomb strapped to him, stating he intends to make public the poor quality of Kamurocho's security, Tsukumo noting the bomber was fired from a security firm three months prior for a security improvement proposal which had a cost too high for higher-ups to justify. Feeling that an incident is the only way to catalyze security improvement, the bomber detonates the bomb, but Tsukumo had hacked into the transmitter and changed its frequency, rendering the bomb impotent. The bomber decides to go out fighting against Yagami. Following the bomber's defeat, he is arrested.
The two see a report of the bomber, 34-year-old Ryu Asaka, having been apprehended. Tsukumo declines Yagami's invitation for dinner, because he has a date scheduled with a woman whose phone he fixed, who also does not mind his rather unkempt appearance.
