The Real Ghostbusters (1986–1991) — The Animated Adaptation of the films. One of the most fondly remembered cartoons of The '80s. Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue (1990) - This TV special Crossover extravaganza included an appearance by the Real Ghostbusters version of Slimer.
Slimer catches up with the other ghosts, who are at a table with the poltergeist. While Egon and Winston search for Slimer, Ray tries to find him by not searching, when a woman shows up who he recognises as his second-grade teacher. While the poltergeist goes out to cause chaos, Peter finds Slimer, but Slimer doesn't go with him.
Sep 28, 2022 · As part of the build-up to the second Ghostbusters film, the series was renamed Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters (as executives fell in love with the cuddly and goofy cartoon version of Slimer) and much of the show's horror downplayed for cheap slapstick humor.
The Real Ghostbusters is an American animated television series, a spin-off/sequel of the 1984 comedy film Ghostbusters. The series ran from September 13, 1986, to October 5, 1991, and was produced by Columbia Pictures Television and DIC Enterprises, and distributed by Coca-Cola Telecommunications.
Slimer (voiced by Frank Welker) is the pet of the Ghostbusters and is the only ghost that will stay still for Egon to test and study. Out of all the four Ghostbusters, Peter is the only Ghostbuster who gets angry and yells at Slimer easily. In the kenner toy line known also as the "Green Ghost".
Slimer! And the Real Ghostbusters: With Frank Welker, Jeff Altman, Dave Coulier, Danny Mann. Episodes feature the Ghostbusters as well as their secretary Janine. But the main star of this show is their pet ghost Slimer, who's joined by some new friends and some new enemies.
