It's a slickly-made TV movie with short scenes and abrupt cuts. Some snippets of vital information are less than a second long, and some key moments are left to the viewer's imagination. Very satisfying. Roy Huggins delivers smart heroes and a cynical worldview.

The Bold Ones was an umbrella series that included three individual series alternating a timeslot: The Protectors, The Young Doctors, and The Lawyers. The latter began life as two pilot films, the first of which is the film under discussion here.
