   • Freedom mobile has since stepped up their network massively. They have LTE coverage in Calgary and Edmonton and I get really good data speeds. I have no blind spots or dropped connections. I live in the SE of Calgary so I can't comment on the U of C area.

   I've been with Freedom Mobile for a few years now, and they've been fine for me. There are some random parts of the city which have poor service, however I can live with it. It comes down to price as well. $200/month for a phone bill is bananas.
