Daniel Louis Doctoroff (born July 11, 1958) is an American businessman and former government official. From 2015 to 2021, he served as chief executive officer of Sidewalk Labs, a startup company he helped found focused on technology for city life.

Daniel L. Doctoroff stepped down as Chairman and CEO of Sidewalk Labs, Alphabet’s pioneering urban innovation company, in late 2021 upon being diagnosed with ALS. HIs focus now is scaling up Target ALS, the organization that he founded in 2013 which has developed a novel, collaborative approach to ALS research.
