The Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (Russian: Российский государственный университет нефти и газа имени И. М. Губкина) is a public university in Moscow, Russia. The university was founded in 1930 and is named after the geologist Ivan Gubkin.
Gubkin University offers training in 39 Bachelor’s, 17 Specialist’s, 50 Master’s and 40 PhD programs. Bachelor’s and Specialist’s programs are undergraduate academic programs awarded to students upon completion of four-year and five/ five and a half-year university studies respectively.
