UWCSEA today extends over two campuses, welcoming students from over 100 nationalities to communities of day and boarding students. The multilingual community is enriched each year by an intake of 600-800 new students who join at all grade-levels.
The United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) is an independent international school in Singapore, and is a member of the United World College (UWC) movement which includes 18 schools worldwide.
Opened by Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew as Singapore International School in 1971, SIS became the United World College of South East Asia in 1975. Expanding as Singapore has grown we are now a K–12 international school of over 5,600 students, spread across two campuses.
The UWCSEA East Campus opened in 2008 and offers an enriching and challenging education to approximately 2,500 students ages 4 to 18.
