Since 2020, the TCFHE name was retired after its parent company was renamed as "20th Century Studios" by The Walt Disney Company, and was later rebranded as "20th Century Studios Home Entertainment", but still used as the copyright placeholder, and the standard 20th Century Studios logo is now used for releases.

The company was renamed 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment on March 16, 1995, after Fox Entertainment Group acquired CBS's interest in CBS/Fox.
