Also I don't think that (Spanish) Visigothic architecture developed into Romanesque, as Romanesque spread from Italy and France into Spain.
Romanesque vaults can be called tunnel, barrel or groin vaults. Romanesque architecture can vary, reflecting local style. Romanesque is a rural phenomenon and was nurtured in monasteries. It also emerged on the pilgrim route to Santiago, at Vézelay, Conques, Toulouse and Pary-le-Monial.

I agree, and I love Gothic architecture, in particular the perpendicular style of the so-called ´wool churches´ in East Anglia like Blythburgh church (either beautifully restored or miraculously intact, not sure but it´s a stunner), and one of the joys of standing in a Gothic cathedral is just marvelling at their technical expertise.
