Lincoln Park Zoo, also known as Lincoln Park Zoological Gardens, is a 35-acre (14 ha) zoo in Lincoln Park, Chicago, Illinois.The zoo was founded in 1868, making it the fourth oldest zoo in North America. It is also one of a few free admission zoos in all of North America. The zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).

Jul 26, 2011 · On Saturday, June 8, and Saturday, July 13, Lincoln Park Zoo will be open exclusively to members from 8–10 a.m. Zoo gates will open to the public at 10 a.m.
Lincoln Park Zoo’s daily free activities last approximately 10 minutes and are open to all ages. Some of this season’s activities are listed below; however, all programs are subject to cancellation due to animal needs, inclement weather, or to ensure public safety.
