Apr 9, 2021 · We hiked the long Goose Creek trail, Mallard Creek Loop (with a nice observation at the heavily reeded Mallard Creek), and the Palmetto Boardwalk through a lovely sunny marshland area. You must start the latter behind the visitor center as it is closed at the other end at the Tar Kiln trail.
