High School applications opened October 3rd, 2023 and with December 1st, 2023 as the deadline to submit high school applications. All high school audition programs will accept virtual auditions via the “Additional Materials” section in MySchools.
WRITING REQUIREMENTS. All degree students at NSCAD University must demonstrate the ability to write competently in English. Students meet this requirement by successfully completing FNDN 1800 Writing for the Arts, in the Foundation Year.
Applicants are encouraged to complete high school or earn a GED certificate before attending SCAD. However, students with exceptional motivation and ability may be admitted early if they meet certain requirements.
Upon acceptance, transfer students work with transfer advisers in the admission department to determine how earned college credit may apply toward degree requirements at SCAD and to register for first-quarter classes.
