Jane Adams was born in Vancouver in 1943, she studied at the Vancouver School of Art under Jack Shadbolt, Orville Fisher, Don Jarvis, Roy Kiyooka, Takao Tanabe, Elizabeth Frink and Reginald Holmes; London, England at: Chelsea School of Art, Slade School of Art, and the Inchbald School of Design.
