Jane Adams. Visual Artist. JANE ADAMS was born in Vancouver and began to show an interest in the visual arts while still a young child. Her first studies in England took place in 1961-62 when she enrolled at the Chelsea School of Art; her teachers there included LAWRENCE GOWING and ELIZABETH FRINK .

Jane Adams was born in Vancouver in 1943, she studied at the Vancouver School of Art under Jack Shadbolt, Orville Fisher, Don Jarvis, Roy Kiyooka, Takao Tanabe, Elizabeth Frink and Reginald Holmes; London, England at: Chelsea School of Art, Slade School of Art, and the Inchbald School of Design.
