A good Amazon sales ranking doesn’t mean you’re selling many books. As you can see above, a good ranking between 5,000 – 10,000 means you’re only selling anywhere from 10 – 40 books per day. That’s quite a wide range. And, even selling 100 books a day doesn’t mean you’ll get rich anytime soon.
Your ranking in a category solely depends on your Amazon Best Seller Rank, known as ABSR. The ABSR is a number from 1 to 4.8 million or however many books there are with #1 being the bestselling book in ALL of Amazon and 4.8 million being the worst selling book on all of Amazon.
