I really love this movie. I don’t hear people talking about it much, but I feel like, just for starters, this is Steve Coogan's best performance. It is also my favorite historical reenactment film and shows the heights this format can reach.
From Paddy Considine and Andy Serkis to Sean Harris and Shirley Henderson, 24 Hour Party People is stacked with some of British cinema's greatest talents, but Coogan is the obvious standout.
